CYO Officials play an important role in the quality of a player's experience. Because of this role, every official is expected to be a person of good character and integrity. Officials are knowledgeable of all CYO rules. They must be able to enforce these rules fairly and encourage good sportsmanship. Officials must represent the Mission, Values, and Philosophy of CYO through their professional attire, presence, and interaction with coaches, staff, and spectators. Officials are expected to be on time for all contests.

Officials must attend an officials meeting prior to each sport season and be Virtus certified in order to be assigned any games. A yearly registration fee of $40.00 will be required for all officials. Proceeds from this fee will help create a fund to assist parishes in need of developing a CYO Program.
